On 6/16/2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Evelyn Garcia met with Marisol Almanzar for the purpose to deliver findings in regard to the complaint investigation and the allegations above. Upon arrival, LPA conducted a tour of the facility and verified a census of 3 children and 2 adults providing care and supervision. All adults are fingerprinted and cleared.

During the investigation, LPA Garcia conducted interviews with complaint-relevant parties and gathered additional complaint-relevant evidence. Information obtained through interviews and observations revealed that the licensee was not properly securing hazardous materials. Specifically, antifreeze, and cleaning compounds (Great Value- multi purpose disinfectant) were observed by LPA Garcia to be accessible to children in a high-traffic area of the facility. Although the materials were not located in an area designated for children's play, they remained accessible and were not stored in a manner that prevented children's access.

Based on the evidence gathered by LPA Garcia, the allegations have been deemed substantiated. The investigation established, by a preponderance of the evidence, that it is more likely than not that the alleged violations occurred.

An exit interview was conducted, a copy of this report, notice of site visit, along with appeal rights was provided to licensee, Marisol Almanzar.

 The home shall be free from defects or conditions which might endanger a child. Safety precautions shall include but not limited to: (4) Poisons, detergents, cleaning compounds, medicines, firearms and other items which could pose a danger if readily available to children shall be stored where they are inaccessible to children.
