25 | On March 27, 2025, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Annelise Villa and Giovanni Cristales met with Licensee Chevon Robinson who guided analyst on a tour of the facility for the random annual inspection and requested capacity increase. The requested capacity is 14. The fire department has granted a fire clearance. Licensee is advised that as a family childcare home operating at full capacity, she must adhere to the following: Operate with a Maximum of 14 children in care with no more than 2 Infants, also must have 3 school age children enrolled. Or Max. 12 Capacity with no more than 4 infants. A Qualified Assistant must be present when more than 8 children are in care. Upon arrival, LPAs observed 7 children in care with Licensee caring for them. Family members living in the home are Licensee, 2 adult child and 3 minors. Hours of operation are provided 24 hours, Monday through Sunday. Incidental Medical Services (IMS) policy was discussed. No children in the daycare with IMS.
Physical Plant: This is a two-story house with 7 bedrooms, and 4 bathrooms, living, family room, laundry room, kitchen, garage, and front/back yards. There is no pool/spa or body of water on the premises. Main care is provided in the living room, and dining room. Children use the bathroom located in the hallway on the right. Accessible areas include living room, family room, bedroom #1, bathroom #1, kitchen, dining area, and back yard. Off limit areas include all upstairs areas, bedrooms 2-6, bathroom #2, laundry room, front yard, and garage. The home was inspected inside and out for safety, clean and orderly, comfort, cleanliness, telephone service, heating and ventilation, inaccessibility to poisons, detergents/cleaning compounds, and medicines. Hazardous items (sharp knives are stored in the kitchen cabinet above stove and microwave, cleaning detergents/compounds are stored underneath kitchen sink with an operable safety latch, and medications are stored on off-limit room located on the second floor) are inaccessible to children in care.
