25 | On February 18, 2026, at 3:15 P.M., Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Joselito L. Del Mundo conducted an unannounced annual inspection at Molina Family Child Care Home to assess its ability to meet compliance with California Code of Regulations (CCR) Title 22, Health, and Safety requirements. LPA Del Mundo met with Licensee, Susana Molina and stated the reason for the inspection. The LPA provided copies of the LIC 126 Entrance Checklist Form. Licensee guided the analyst on a tour of the day care areas. The off-limits areas are bedrooms #1 to #5, and the garage. The day care takes place in the following area of the home: living room, dining area, den (playroom), bathroom #1, and the side yard (outdoor play area).
Licensee states the day care hours of operation are Monday to Friday from 6:30 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. Currently living in the home is licensee, licensee’s spouse, and licensee’s adult son. Licensee is currently providing transportation to children in care. Licensee was made aware to have a current California Driver’s License, vehicle registration, and car insurance when transporting children in care. During this visit, LPA observed four children present in the facility with the licensee providing care and supervision. LPA also observed the licensee’s spouse and licensee’s adult son.
Physical Plant: The home was inspected inside and out for safety, comfort, cleanliness, telephone service, heating and ventilation, inaccessibility to poisons, detergents/cleaning compounds, medicines and hazardous items that can pose a danger to children. The smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector are in operable condition (tested at 3:40 P.M.). The facility has a 2-A:10-B:C type of fire extinguisher. During today’s visit, Licensee stated that licensee does not own firearms and no one smokes in the facility. The hallway leading to bedroom #2 has child safety baby gate. LPA observed cleaning products and detergents are stored inside the bathroom cabinets and in the lower kitchen cabinets under the sink and secured with child safety lock. Knives and other sharp items are stored inside the kitchen drawers with child safety lock.
