Knives, medication, cleaning supplies and chemicals are kept inaccessible to children.
There are educational age-appropriate toys and equipment on the premises.
The First Aid kit with a temperature thermometer was observed and complete. The required fire extinguisher (2A10BC) is reading in green, according to licensee fire extinguisher was purchased within the year. Smoke detector (tested at 11:30 a.m.) and was found to be in operating condition according to the Fire Marshal standards.
Licensee had all the required documents: Facility License (LIC 203, Notice of Parent's Rights Poster (PUB 394), Emergency Disaster Plan (LIC 610A), and Earthquake Preparedness Checklist (LIC 9148).
The licensee maintains proof of immunization against pertussis (TDAP), measles (MMR), TB and influenza written statement decline vaccine on file.
Licensee provided a Pediatric CPR/First Aid training certificate dated 03/24/2024 which does not expire until 3/24/2026. Child Care Provider Mandated Reporter training (AB1207) is required to be renewed every two-years. Licensee provided Child Care Provider Mandated Reporter (AB1207) training certificate dated 2/05/2024. Emergency drills are conducted every six months, last drill was documented on 11/09/07/2023 at 10:00 a.m.
Licensee's facility child roster shall be current and maintained up to date.
