25 | On Monday, April 20, 2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA’s) Mayra Rivera and Maria Avalos conducted an unannounced annual inspection and met with licensees Susanna Melikyan and Edmond Shahnazarian, who granted access and guided LPA Avalos on a tour of the facility.
Family members residing in the home have been discussed with the licensees and are cleared. Operating hours are Monday to Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and care for children ages 0 to 12. LPA observed 2 infant and 3 preschool children present. LPA observed the facility to be within ratio.
This facility is a one-story home that consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, living room, dining room, den and front and backyard fenced.
Areas off limits to children include- Kitchen, den, master bedroom, guest bedroom and bathroom next to master bedroom. LPA observed 2 gate barriers installed in the hallway.
Areas accessible to children include- living room, bedroom (daycare) located in the hallway and bathroom located in the daycare bedroom, and backyard.
LPA inspected the facility for safety, comfort, cleanliness, ventilation and working phone (cell phone). For ventilation, LPA observed a central air conditioner/heater unit, and the vents located on the ceiling. LPA observed two fireplaces. One located in the dining area and the other in the living room. The one located in the dining area, LPA observed a screen, and the one located in the living room, LPA observed a gate barrier. LPA observed the furniture, children’s materials, to be in good condition and age appropriate. LPA observed cots to be in good condition. LPA observed one play yard and observed the bedroom used for napping with four play pens, two mattress and one crib with a fitted sheet and free from bumper pads, pillows, blankets, and hanging items.
