32 | LPA Rivera observed cleaning compounds items stored underneath the kitchen sink. LPA observed knives and sharp objects to be stored inside the kitchen drawer. LPA observed the electric outlets to have covers. For water drinking, LPA observed a water dispenser and licensee stated disposable cups are utilized. Licensee stated she provides the meals for the children. LPA informed licensee food brought from the children's homes, the container shall be labeled with the child's name and properly stored or refrigerated.
LPA Rivera entered the bathroom and observed the toilet, hand washing sink, hand soap and LPA observed the bottom sink cabinet to be empty. LPA did not observe hazard materials and observed the restroom to be in good condition. LPA reminded licensee any personal items (ex; shampoo, toothpaste, mouthwash, or items that fall into that category) must be made inaccessible to children.
LPA Rivera asked licensee if there are any pets, poisons, firearms, weapons, or bodies of water. Licensee stated she has two dogs (a Dogo Argentino and a Malti/Yorkie mix), no poisons and no bodies of water, no firearms, and no weapons. LPA observed the white Dogo Argentino in the backyard and the Malti/Yorkie inside the main house. LPA did not observe poisons, firearms, weapons, nor bodies of water. Licensee was informed that if any poisons (ex; drano, rat poison or items that fall into that category), firearms and weapons are purchased, it is required to be locked with a key or combination lock and firearm and ammunition/firing pins must be stored separately.
LPA Rivera observed the required 2A10BC fire extinguisher located in the daycare room with the valve on the green area indicating fully charged. LPA observed the purchase receipt dated 9/24/25. LPA observed a carbon monoxide detector and smoke alarm located in the daycare room. LPA tested the carbon monoxide and smoke alarm. LPA Rivera heard the sounds and are operable. LPA observed the first aid complete with band aids, gauzes, adhesive bandages, and antiseptic wipes and located in the daycare room. For ill isolation, licensee stated a corner of the daycare room is utilized. LPA observed last emergency drill conducted on 8/11/25.
LPA Rivera inspected the play outdoor (front yard) area that is utilized by children for safety, comfort, and cleanliness. LPA observed the front yard to be fenced and gated. LPA informed any play equipment must be age appropriate and areas around or under high climbing equipment, must have a cushion to support a fall. LPA reminded licensee any gardening equipment must be removed from the
