25 | On May 6th, 2026 at 10:30 am, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Evelyn Chacon and Annelise Villa conducted an unannounced/random inspection. LPAs met with licensee Dashana Eranga Nissanka and advised her on the purpose of the inspection. Licensee provided LPAs a tour of the home inside and outside. There were no children in care at the time of the inspection. LPAs verified all adults in the home have been background cleared.
Licensee has a two-story house with 3 bedrooms, and 2.5 bathrooms, living room, family room, dining area laundry room, kitchen, attached garage, added sun room, and front/back yards. There are no pools/spas or bodies of water on the premises. Main care is provided in the living room. Children use the bathroom located in the hallway on the right. Accessible areas include living room, family room, dining room, bathroom #1, and back yard. Off limit areas include bedrooms 1-3, bathroom 2 and 3, kitchen, laundry room, front yard, and garage. LPAs observed all proper posted documents in an accessible area of the home. Licensee stated they do not have firearms, ammo, or bodies of water on the facility. During the tour of the facility, Licensee observed a 2A10BC fire extinguisher within the appropriate range. Fireplace was covered with a glass covering making it inaccessible to children in care. Smoke/carbon monoxide detectors were tested and were tested to be in working. Licensee stated that the facility does provide Incidental Medical Services (IMS) and IMS policies were discussed . Licensee stated if children are sick separate room will be used for isolation area. Any sharps, cleaning supplies, poisonous items, and medications are kept in kitchen and laundry room which are off limits to children by two latching gates and locked door. Licensee stated that they are not enrolled in a food program.
