The regulation prohibits the smoking of tobacco in a private residence that is licensed as a family childcare home and in those areas of the family day care home where children are present (24/7 ban). State law prohibits baby walkers, bouncy seats, exer-saucers, and any other items that fall into that category. On this date, March 14, 2025, the California Attorney General - Megan’s Law website was searched for information on sex offenders required to register with local law enforcement under California's Megan's Law. No registered sex offenders were found at the facility addresses.
Under state law, some registered sex offenders are not subject to public disclosure; therefore,they may not have been included in this search. However, the Department conducts a monthly cross reference of each address on record for all registered sex offenders against all CCLD facility addresses pursuant to information shared by California DOJ.
The CCLD On Duty Worker is available: Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM at (661) 202-3318 for questions, information, and Unusual Incident Reporting. Once the incident is reported within twenty-four (24) hours, you must follow up with a written report within seven (7) days via email at: unusualincidentreport@dss.ca.gov or via fax at (661) 202-3810.
*Incidental Medical Services (IMS) policy was discussed. Applicant will wait until facility opens to determine IMS needs.
