25 | On 5/25/23, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) V. Wheatley conducted an unannounced Required Annual Inspection for the Infant license. LPA met with owner/ director Gyoungok Park and toured the entire facility. Today's inspection is a follow-up to the inspection on 5/16/23. LPA observed an adult teacher with the children who did not have a file or proof of qualifications. The hours are Monday - Friday 7am to 7pm. LPA observed one infant supervised by Staff #1.
There is no swimming pool or other bodies of water on the premises. LPA observed disinfectants, cleaning solutions, medication and other hazardous items are made inaccessible. All poisons are kept in a locked storage area.
Furniture and equipment are in good condition, free of sharp, loose or pointed parts. The surface of the outdoor activity space is maintained in a safe condition and is free of hazards. All toilets and hand washing facilities are in safe and sanitary operating condition. Floors in the facility are clean and safe.
There is a kitchen on the premises. The food for infants is provided by the parents however the older infants each the food prepared on the premises which is a morning snack, lunch and afternoon snack/dinner. Today, LPA observed all food is protected against contamination and any contaminated food is discarded immediately. Solid waste storage containers have tight-fitting covers and are in good repair. Drinking water is available both indoors and outdoors.
