On Friday, May 3, 2024 at 2:15 p.m., Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Evelyn Garcia conducted an unannounced Case Management - Annual Continuation inspection and met with Administrative assistant, Rocio Guerrero for the purpose of reviewing Personnel files for staff at Phillip Max Saeta Head Start/ State Preschool. The personnel files are kept off location at an administrative office located at 11243 Kittridge St. North Hollywood.

LPA reviewed 2 personnel files and all files were observed to be complete. LPA was unable to review 2 staff members who were present, due to them being employed by Child Care Careers, which is an outside contracted agency.

During this visit, LPA Garcia stated to Rocio that further investigation would have to be done about the CPR certification due to EMSA sticker not being present and CPR vender stating that he is EMSA certified and EMSA is no longer providing stickers for certifications. However, all staff CPR certifications from Health and Safety First were found to be current.

There are no deficiencies to be cited today.

A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
