Licensing Program Analysts (LPA's) Justin Dorsey and Babatunde Ibitoye met with Administrator Veronica Rose today for the purpose to inspect for a pending capacity increase and to add a toddler component to the preschool.

LPA's measured the indoor and outdoor spaces. *Each classroom has a 20 square foot restroom*:
2's Classroom: 29 x 17 = 473/35 = 13 children
4's Classroom: 40 x 17 = 660/35 = 18 children
2-3's Classroom: 30 x 17 = 490/35 = 14 children
3-4's Classroom: 38 x 17 = 628/35 = 17 children
Library (no restroom): 12 x 10 =120/35 = 3 children
Outdoor play area: 4916 sq. ft. / 75 = 65 children

Bathrooms: Each classroom has a restroom with 2 toilets. There is one sink located outside of each classrooms children's restroom. There is also a sink located on the children's playground.

There is a staggered play schedule for children (toddlers and preschool) to access the outside play yards.

There are no health of safety hazards noted, fire extinguishers and first aid kits are located in each classroom, bathrooms are clean and sanitary.

Although the Fire clearance has been approved for requested capacity (75) the facility indoor space will only allow the facility capacity to increase from 65 to 67 children. LPA's approved facility capacity increase from 65 to 67 children.

LPA's also measured the 2's classroom for the requested toddler component. LPA's approved the facilities request to add 6 toddlers in the 2's classroom.

2's Classroom: 29 x 17 = 473/35 = 13 children

During the visit LPA's received updated application showing the facility will be licensed for 61 preschoolers and 6 toddlers. Exit interview conducted, copy of report along with the Notice of Site Visit left with Director during this inspection.
