32 | ·Disinfectants, cleaning solutions, poisons and other items that could pose a danger if readily available to children were stored and inaccessible to children (stored in high cabinets. Stored in the back of the 2nd PS room in high cabinets.
· There are fully stocked first-aid kit(s) in locations accessible to staff but inaccessible to children:
· The isolation is located in the office for any child who becomes ill during the day.
· LPA observed operable carbon monoxide detectors and smoke detectors(hard wired). Fire extinguishers are located throughout the facility and fully charged.
· The center has a working telephone
· Sign-in and out procedure manual and Brightwheel. -
· The licensee shall conduct a wellness check to ensure that children with obvious symptoms of illness including, but not limited to, fever or vomiting, are not accepted.
OUTDOOR
The play yard was free of hazards including, but not limited to, holes, broken glass and other debris, and dry grasses that pose a fire hazard. As a condition of licensure, the areas around and under high climbing equipment, swings, slides and other similar equipment shall be cushioned with material that absorbs falls (rubber matting). Drinking Water - Staff will bring water pictures out for drinking water with disposable cups. There are no bodies of water on the premises, there are tarp sails on the play yard that provide shade, children have a safe entrance and exit to the play yard.
RESTROOMS
There are 2 bathrooms designated for school age children, both bathrooms are located in the School age room. All toilets and hand washing facilities shall be maintained in safe and sanitary operating condition. There is a separate staff bathroom available.
