25 | At 9:25 am Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Saul Valenzuela conducted an unannounced annual inspection to the above facility. LPA met with Licensee, Maria Isabel Perez, to whom the reason for the visit was explained. Per Licensee, there are four children currently enrolled. There were two children present upon arrival. The licensee was observed to be operating within the license capacity limitations.
The licensee states that 1 adult and no children currently live in the home. Per Licensee, there are no assistants in the facility. All adults living in the home have obtained a criminal record clearance.
This is a one-story home which consists of two bedrooms, one bathroom, living room, kitchen, dining room, detached garage, front yard, and backyard which is fenced.
Per licensee, the children have access to: two bedrooms, one bathroom, living room, kitchen, dining room, and backyard which is fenced. Areas off-limits to children and parents include: front yard and detached garage.
Licensee guided analyst on a tour of the facility. During this visit, all areas identified on the facility sketch that are accessible for children to use were toured and inspected and the following was observed.
Facility License, Emergency Disaster Plan, Parent’s Rights Poster, and Earthquake Preparedness Checklist were observed to be posted. A current children’s roster was available for review.
There is telephone service via a landline and cell phone. Hours of operation are Monday – Friday, 6:00 am – 6:00 pm. There is air conditioning and heating (central).
