13 | Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) T. Tran and A. Carter arrived at the above licensed facility to deliver final finding for the above complaint allegation. Upon arrival, LPAs met with Center Director, Liane D'Arezzo. LPAs observed the children were napping, no concerns with teachers/children ratio.
Based upon the evidence obtained during the course of the investigation through interviews, the evidence does not support, nor disprove the above allegation staff did not treat daycare children with respect occurred at the facility. Staff shared, on 9/26/24 they observed a bystander on a bike stopping at the facility shouting in because she heard a child was screaming. She assumed that we mistreated our children and threated to call the police. We have a challenging child that likes to scream. We are working with the child's parents to help the child succeed in school. Therefore, the allegation has been determined unsubstantiated. Unsubstantiated – A finding that the complaint is unsubstantiated means that although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the alleged violation occurred.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the facility representative, Liane D'Arrezzo.
