LPA’s met with facility director, Dr. Haleema Shaikley, during the visit. No children were present in the facility.

water for lead in Child Care Centers (CCCs). Per AB 2370, all CCCs that are located in buildings constructed before January 1, 2010, must have their water tested and post the results by January 1, 2023, and every 5 years after the date of the first testing.
Facility provided facility sketch LIC999 to LPA’s on 12/5/2023 and required forms LIC 9276 and LIC9275 will be submitted at a later time.
On 11/17/2023, the Department received notification from the State Water Resources Control Board
(SWRCB), Division of Drinking Water (DDW). The SWRCB report indicated the facility was inspected and

exceedance levels were as follows:
C – Sink Faucet In Facility Preschool Restroom (7.300 UG/L) – Faucet currently not in use
Director stated that the facility will remediate the outlet in the restroom and retest for lead.
LPA’s observed an “out of order/do not use” sign in the faucet in the restroom. There are no children in attendance due to construction of the facility.
