25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Dayna Chambers conducted an unannounced annual inspection to the above facility on 02/11/2025. LPA arrived at the facility at 1:10PM, identified self, and met with Maria Chavez, Licensee who guided analyst on a tour of the facility. LPA provided Licensee with a copy of the LIC 126 Entrance Checklist to help facilitate the inspection. LPA observed that also present during this inspection, was Francisca Guridi, Licensee’s Assistant. Per Licensee, they currently have one assistant.
LPA observed 4 children upon arrival. There are 10 children that are currently enrolled. A current LIC9040 children’s roster was available for review. Per Licensee, operation hours are 6:00am to 6:00pm Monday through Friday. Individuals who reside in the home were noted and discussed. This is a one-story home which consists of 2 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, living room, right side of home (activity room patio), Backyard (Fenced), detached garage converted into apartment for daughter, and front yard (fenced). The children use the activity room (inside) for napping, and the outside patio for activities and meal, The children use ½ bathroom in family room, and back yard (fenced). The parents and children enter from the right side of the home through the outside activity room. The outdoor play area was observed to be fenced. Children are using the back yard for outdoor play time. LPA observed that the outdoor yard has toys and other materials for children to play with. LPA did not observe any objects that can pose a danger to children on the outdoor yard.The off-limit areas include 2 bedrooms, kitchen, full bathroom, front yard, and apartment in backyard. The licensee provides food for children in care. Licensee uses fans, portable heaters, and installed air conditioners for ventilation. Per Licensee, areas off limits to children and parents include the living room, bedroom #1 and #2, 1 bathroom, kitchen, Living Room, and Front Yard.LPA did not observe any infant walkers, baby bouncers, inclined chairs, baby saucers, or any similar items at the facility. Safe toys play equipment and materials were observed. All areas identified on the facility sketch that are accessible for children to use were inspected for safety, comfort, and cleanliness.Licensee states that there are no firearms stored in the home. The licensee has caged parakeets and one medium dog that is inaccessible to children in care during operation hours. LPA did not observe any pools, spas, hot tubs, fishponds, or similar bodies of water during the inspection. There is telephone service via cellphone stays at |
