25 | At approximately 8:45 am Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Mary Silva conducted an unannounced annual inspection at the above facility on 05/28/25. Licensing staff met with Licensee Linda Aguilera, who guided analyst on a tour of the facility. The Entrance Checklist LIC 126, was provided to the Licensee during this visit There was one child present upon arrival. Facility capacity is in compliance for a Large Family Child Care Home. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 5:30 AM - 6:30 PM.
This is a single-story home, that consists of five bedrooms, three-bathrooms, Kitchen, living room, family room, dining room, attached garage, fenced front yard and fenced back yard. Areas accessible to children and parents were inspected as follows: living room, family room, dining room, one bathroom located in hallway, and front yard. Areas off limits include kitchen, five bedrooms, and two bathrooms located in the bedrooms, attached garage, and fenced back yard. LPA reminded licensee areas inaccessible to children must remain off limits. Currently residing in the home are six adults (criminal record clearance on file) and one minor. There was a total of two adults present during this inspection, licensee, and licensee’s son.
LPA observed the following required posted documentation in the main entry way of the facility: Facility License, Publication (PUB) 394- Notification of Parent Rights and Licensing Form (LIC) 9148- Earthquake Preparedness form. LPA reviewed facility records for LIC 9040- Facility Roster, LIC 610- Facility Disaster Plan and Disaster drill log. Last drill was conducted in May 2025.
The home was observed to be clean and orderly, with central air and heating. Licensing staff observed the smoke detector in the dining room and carbon monoxide in the hallway to be in operable condition. Fire extinguisher indicates fully charged, serviced 09/23/24. Per Licensee, offers breakfast, lunch and snacks.
