25 | On 06/06/2024, at 11:30 AM Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Kruz Long conducted an unannounced Annual/Random inspection at the above facility. A COVID-19 risk assessment was conducted prior to entering the facility. Upon arrival LPA Long was greeted by Felicita Cruz Torrez, Assistant. LPA observed 2 infants, 5 toddlers. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 6:30AM to 6:00 PM. Licensee's adult daughter (Angela Caprilli) was also present. Licensee Rita Caprilli later arrived at the facility and assisted with the inspection.
Facility is a two-story house: 1st floor contains a living room, family room, dining area, kitchen, bathroom, laundry room and an attached garage. 2nd floor contains 4 bedrooms and 1 bathroom.
The day care takes place in the family room, 1st floor bathroom, kitchen and rear yard. LPA observed a barrier preventing the children from accessing all off limit areas.
The home is clean, orderly, comfortable, and well ventilated. Licensee's poisons, detergent, cleaning compounds, medications and other items which could pose a danger to child are stored where they are inaccessible to children. LPA observed working smoke detector and Carbon Monoxide detector, fully charged fire extinguisher and land line telephone. There are cribs and cots in the family room. There are several age-appropriate toys. There are no firearms on the premises. Licensee has current First Aid and CPR which expires on 04/20/26. Backyard pools is surrounded with a fence from top to bottom. The fence does not obscure the pool from view. Self latching gates are pad locked at all time during operating hours.
