25 | On January 2, 2025, at 1:00pm., Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Keneisha Dunlap arrived at the above facility for the purpose of an unannounced Annual Inspection. LPA Dunlap announced the purpose of the visit and was granted entry into the facility by Licensee - Cecilia Espinoza. There are 16 children enrolled, and 10 children present at the time of inspection. The hours of operation are Monday- Sunday from 12:00am-12:00am. All adults in the home were discussed and background and fingerprinted cleared. License, earthquake disaster checklist, disaster plan, and PUB 394 posted. Licensee does have a current disaster log drill with the date of 1/2/25. Licensee does have current LIC 9040 (facility roster).
This is a one-story home which consists of 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom, kitchen/dining room, living room, detached garage, front yard and backyard (fenced). The off limit areas include 3 bedrooms, front yard and detached garage.
The main care area is located in the living room. LPA observed sleeping mats, a couch, wall mounted television, age appropriate toys and a cubby locker for storing children's personal belongings. LPA observed outdoor area to be in good condition, free of sharp, loose, or pointed parts.
The kitchen area is accessible to children, however cabinets and drawers have safety latches and magnets making it inaccessible to children in care.
The bathroom area has a working toilet and sink. The cabinet and drawers has a safety latches making it inaccessible to children. The second bathroom has a safety latch making it inaccessible to children.
The outdoor area for play is the backyard. The yard has toys, slide structure, basketball hoops, and bikes. The area has a age an appropriate table and chairs. Soft furnishings for seating. Manipulate play, dramatic play, and arts & crafts materials. Page 1 of 4 |
