25 | Inspection was conducted in Spanish Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Mary Silva and Licensing Program Manager Claudia Guangorena conducted an unannounced annual required inspection at the above facility on 06/28/23 at 8:55 am. Licensing staff met with Licensee Olga Gonzalez, who guided analysts on a tour of the facility. There were eight children present upon arrival, at approximately at 9:04am an additional child arrived for a total of nine children. Facility capacity is in compliance for a Large Family Child Care Home. Hours of operation are Mon-Fri 5:00 AM - 6:00 PM.
This is a single-story home, that consists of four-bedrooms, two-bathrooms, Kitchen, formal living room, dining room, family room, attached garage, laundry room, front and back yard. Areas accessible to children and parents were inspected as follows: family room that is designated as a daycare room, one bathroom located in hallway, and back yard. Parents and children enter through the front gate and back gate that leads to the Day Care area. Areas off limits include formal living room, four bedrooms, and one bathroom located in a master bedroom, attached garage, laundry room, and front yard. Licensing staff reminded licensee bedrooms must be made inaccessible to children if they are designated to be off limits. Currently residing in the home are four adults (Licensee, husband, and two adult children) and no minors. There was a total of five adults present during this inspection, Licensee, Licensee’s assistant, mother in-law and two adult children.
LPA observed the following required posted documentation in the main entry way of the facility: Facility License, Publication (PUB) 394- Notification of Parent Rights and Licensing Form (LIC) 9148- Earthquake Preparedness form. LPA reviewed facility records for LIC 9040- Facility Roster, LIC 610- Facility Disaster Plan and Disaster drill log. Last drill was conducted in May 2023. Page 1 of 4 |
