25 | On October 10, 2024, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Monique Ayala conducted an unannounced Annual/Random inspection at the above facility. A COVID-19 risk assessment was conducted prior to entering the facility. Upon arrival LPA Ayala was greeted by licensee, Ana Duran. Also present in the home was licensee's assistant Francisca who is fingerprint and associated to the facility. LPA observed 3 children in care, per licensee there are 3 children enrolled. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 7AM to 6PM. The inspection was conducted in Spanish.
This is a single-story house with 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, detached garage that remains locked at all times, laundry area with chemicals and cleaning compounds inaccessible to children in care, living room, family room, dining room, kitchen, completely fenced rear yard and front yard.
The day care takes place in living room, family room, bathroom and rear yard. The home is clean, orderly, comfortable, and well ventilated.
Licensee's poisons, detergent, cleaning compounds, medications and other items which could pose a danger to child are stored where they are inaccessible to children. LPA did not observe a working smoke detector and Carbon Monoxide as children were napping. LPA observed fully charged fire extinguisher, and working telephone.
There are several age-appropriate toys and a first aid kit on the premises. Per licensee, there are firearms on the premises and LPA observed the firearms to be in accordance with Title 22 Regulations. Licensee has current First Aid and CPR, expires 06/24/2025.
