25 | On 03/14/2024 at 11:05 am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Kruz Long conducted an unannounced Annual/Required inspection at the above facility. A COVID-19 risk assessment was conducted prior to entering the facility. Upon arrival LPA was greeted by licensee Frances Smith Pineda. LPA observed 1 infant and 5 toddlers. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 6AM to 5:30PM.
This is a two-story house: 1st floor contains: Living room, kitchen, dining room, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, garage/play room and back/side play yard (fenced). 2nd floor contains: Loft, bedroom and bathroom.
The day care takes place in the entire 1st floor. The licensee and husband is currently living in the home. The home is clean, orderly, comfortable, and well ventilated.
Licensee's poisons, detergent, cleaning compounds, medications and other items which could pose a danger to child are stored where they are inaccessible to children. LPA observed working smoke detector and Carbon Monoxide detector, fully charged and serviced fire extinguisher, and working land line telephone.
There are age-appropriate toys and a first aid kit on the premises. Per the licensee, there are no firearms on the premises. Licensee has current First Aid and CPR, expires 01/31/2026. Fire place is screened to prevent access by children.
