25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Seung Lee conducted an Annual Random inspection to the above facility. LPA met with Licensee, Brenda Liu, who guided Analyst on a tour of the facility. Also present were Licensee's Assistant. LPA observed nine (11) children in care at the time of inspection. Facilities hours of operation are Mon-Fri from 8:00am-6:00pm
This is a single-story home which consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen front and back yard. Children have access to the living room, dining room, bathroom in the hallway, middle bedroom, which is used for napping purposes and back yard. All other rooms are considered off-limits to children in care. The back yard is used for outdoor play.
Currently residing in the home are Licensee, six adults and no minor children. Licensee was informed that all individuals must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption prior to working, residing, or volunteering in a licensed home.
LPA observed the following required posted documentation in the main entry way of the facility: Facility License, Publication (PUB) 394- Notification of Parent Rights and Licensing Form (LIC) 9148- Earthquake Preparedness form. LPA reviewed facility records for LIC 9040- Facility Roster, LIC 610- Facility Disaster Plan. LPA observe a record of the last drill conducted on 01/15/2025..
The home was observed to be clean and orderly, with central air and heating. LPA observed the smoke detector and the carbon monoxide detector to be in operable condition. required 2A 10BC fire extinguisher The home maintains telephone service via land line and cell phone. There are toys and other age-appropriate material available for children. |
