32 | On 02/21/2024 at 9:08 a.m. LPA Whitmore conducted a visit to complete the investigation and deliver findings. LPA Whitmore met with the Site Supervisor Donna Belvin. LPA toured the facility indoors and outdoors, observing proper teacher/child ratios with 8 total children in care and 7 Teachers. The Department conducted a full investigation, which included staff interviews, interviews with relevant parties, as well as a record review and observation. LPA did not observe, nor was information provided via interviews that provided sufficient evidence to substantiate the allegations of Lack of Care & Supervision - Staff did not ensure child was provided adequate care and supervision, Personal Rights - Staff did not ensure child was spoken to in an appropriate manner, Personal Rights - Staff does not ensure child eats snacks on a clean surface while in care. Although the allegations may have happened or are valid there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations did or did not occur. Therefore, the allegations are deemed unsubstantiated. An exit interview was conducted, a copy of this report, appeal rights along with Notice of Site Visit were provided. |
