25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) R. Derraco and P. Bishop conducted an unannounced annual inspection to the above facility on 09/05/24. LPAs arrived at the facility at 1:30PM and met with licensee, Hannah Meyers, who guided analyst on a tour of the facility. Also present during this inspection was S1. Per Licensee, there are 6 children that are currently enrolled. There were 2 children present upon arrival. Individuals who reside in the home were noted and discussed
This is a one-story home which consists of 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen/dining room, 2 living rooms, a garage, front yard and backyard (fenced). The off limit areas include 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, garage, and front yard.
The main care area is located in both living rooms. LPAs observed couches, a piano, age appropriate toys, children reading material and a television. The kitchen was observed to have a lock beneath the kitchen sink. Per licensee, cleaning supplies are kept beneath the kitchen sink. Per licensee, knives and other pointy objects are kept in a cabinet above the refrigerator. Licensee states that she provides food for the children as needed. The dining room was observed with a dining table and chairs. A fireplace was observed in the living room to have a glass cover. Bedroom 1 was observed with two beds and additional toys. Bedroom two was observed with two beds and additional toys. The outdoor play area is located in the backyard and observed with perimeter fencing, outdoor play equipment and a tree to provide shade. A locked storage shed was observed in the backyard play area. Per licensee, she conducts an after school program that starts around 3:00 PM. Per licensee, isolation area for children showing signs of illness will be located in the second living room.
All areas identified on the facility sketch that are accessible for children to use were inspected for safety,
comfort, and cleanliness. There is telephone service via a cellphone that is used and the cellphone stays at
