25 | On April 2, 2026 at 8:50 am Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Priscilla Ochoa conducted an unannounced annual inspection at the above facility. LPA was greeted by Licensee’s assistant, S2 who stated that the licensee is not home as they had an errand to run. Shortly after, the licensee, Maria Esquivel arrived to the facility, took over the inspection and guided LPA on a tour of the facility. The licensee’s two assistants were also present during the inspection. Hours of operation are Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Per licensee, there are 11 children enrolled and LPA observed 1 infant and 6 preschool aged children.
Licensee expressed to LPA that the facility will be closed from April 6th - April 10th for spring break.
Family members residing in the home are 2 adults who obtain criminal record clearance and 1 minor child. This is a one-story home which consists of 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, living room, dining room, kitchen, laundry room, front yard, side yard, garage and back yard. All outdoor areas are fenced.
Off limit areas to children and parents are 1 bedroom, kitchen, laundry room, garage and back yard. These areas have been made accessible by lock and key.
Areas accessible to the children are 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, living room, dining room, front yard and side yard which are fenced.
At 9: 20 am LPA was guided on a tour of the facility. Per licensee, parents enter through the front door of the home which leads them to the living room area. Upon entrance to the home, LPA observed multiple age-appropriate toys for children in care and all required licensing postings. LPA also observed children’s cubbies to store their personal belongings.
