25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Staicy Perry conducted an unannounced Case Management inspection for the purpose of Staff File Review. Upon arrival, LPA met with Director Elizabeth Schwandt, to whom the purpose of the inspection was explained. Tour of the facility was provided. There were children present during the time of inspection. Census was taken and LPA Perry observed 96 children in care.
During today's inspection, LPA conducted Staff file reviews on five staff files. LPA observed staff files to have Pediatric First Aid/ CPR certification file and up to date, and all staff have proof of immunization against Pertussis, MMR, and Influenza and or declination. All staff has completed the Child Abuse Mandated Reporter (AB 1207) training. Licensee was advised that the mandated reporter training must be completed every 2 years, and is available at www.mandatedreporterca.com to be complete and all staff had the required Mandated Reporter training on file and current. LPA Perry did observe all licensing forms to be completed and on file.
Based on the LPA Perry observations and records review, no deficiencies are being cited in accordance with California Code of Regulations Title 22.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the Director Elizabeth Schwandt. Appeal Rights were discussed and provided.
