On 10/23/2025 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jonnisha Culbert conducted an unannounced compliant inspection at the facility noted above. LPA met with licensee, Kim Sung Mee and stated the purpose of today’s visit. It was alleged that staff hit children.

LPA conducted interviews and reviewed files. On 09/26/2025 staff and children were interviewed. LPA reviewed staff interviews and observed that staff were consistent with their statements. Seven out of seven staff interviewed agreed that teachers do not hit children. During children’s interviews, no information was gathered that can refute or support the allegation. However, five out of five children interviewed expressed that they are, "happy at school" and one out of five children interviewed expressed that, "the teachers make [them] feel happy". LPA reviewed the facilities record and observed that there is no information that corroborates the allegation that staff hit children.
