25 | About 12:35 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) T. Tran conducted an unannounced required inspection at the above licensed facility. Upon arrival, LPA met with licensee Liliana Bonillai, an employee, and observed six children in care. About 12:50 PM. we toured the accessible areas of the home. All adults have fingerprinted cleared and associated to the licensed facility. LPA observed proper care and supervision of children and ratios. The current hours of operation are 6:00AM-5:30PM; Monday through Friday.
LPA observed all posting requirements for operation on the posting board LIC 203A-License, LIC-9213-Notice of site visit, LIC 610 A-Emergency Disaster Plan, LIC 9148-Earthquake Preparedness Check List, PUB 394-Notification of parent’s rights poster, PUB 269- Child Car Seat Law, Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, Shaken Baby Syndrome Poster, and safe sleep poster.
This is a single dwelling home consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room, a kitchen, a family room connected to a den, and a detached garage. Childcare conducted in family room and den. one bedroom was napping. Children do not have access to the kitchen area. LPA observed the kitchen has safety latched on the cabinets and no sharp objects or chemical compounds accessible to children in care. Children do not have access to two bedrooms and the living room. Licensee acknowledged that children may never enter these off-limit areas. The enclosed backyard observed to be clean with lots learning materials available for children.
LPA observed all posting requirements accessible to all parents. Licensee had current CPR/First Aid certificates (Exp. 9/2023), fire extinguisher, carbon monoxide and smoke detector meet regulations. Cleaning materials and medications are inaccessible, Licensee stated there are no firearms in the home. The home conducted emergency disaster drill on a monthly basis. Children’s records were reviewed and completed.
