25 | On February 3, 2025, at 12:15pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Keneisha Dunlap arrived at the above facility for the purpose of an unannounced Annual Inspection. LPA Dunlap announced the purpose of the visit and was granted entry into the facility by Assistant- Yesnia Robledo. There are 10 children enrolled, and 3 children present at the time of inspection. The hours of operation are Monday- Friday from 6:00am-6:00pm. All adults in the home were discussed and background and fingerprinted cleared.
This is a one-story home which consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen/dining room, living room, a detached garage, front yard and backyard (fenced). The off limit areas include all 3 bedrooms, one bathroom, detached garage, and front yard.
License, facility sketch, earthquake disaster checklist, disaster plan, and PUB 394 posted. Licensee does have current LIC 9040 (facility roster).
At 1:00pm, LPA Dunlap requested a current disaster log drill. The Assistant stated that they do drills, however they did not know does have current log. LPA Dunlap provided a non department form that can be used to document future logs. This poses a potential health and safety risk to children in care. Technical Assistant Violation will be issued.
LPA observed the smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector to be operable.
LPA observed a fire extinguisher with receipt of purchase date of 1/14/25.
The main care area is located in the living room. LPA observed age appropriate toys, storage bins with toys a couch, and a wall mounted television. LPA Dunlap observed main care area to be in good condition, free of sharp, loose, or pointed parts. Page 1 of 4
