Staff handles day care child in a rough manner. Staff yells at day care child. Staff spoke inappropriately to day care child while in care.

At approximately 2:55 PM Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Mayra Rivera conducted an unannounced complaint inspection to deliver findings for the above allegations. LPA met with Director Cynthia Castillo who guided LPA on a tour of the facility. LPA entered the playground and observed 13 preschoolers playing outdoors with staff #1 and staff #2. LPA interviewed staff #1, #2, and director. Classroom 11 and 13 are closed due to low enrollment and staff.

During the course of the investigation LPA Mayra Rivera interviewed parents, staff, children and director. LPA received no disclosures that corroborate the allegations.

There is no other information that would substantiate the allegations or make the allegations unfounded. Although the above allegations may have happened or are valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations did or did not occur. Therefore at this time the above allegations are unsubstantiated.
