32 | LPA observed there no swimming pool or bodies of water. Per licensee, food service, transportation, and overnight care is provided, currently no overnight care. Per Licensee, no children on medication at the facility. Per Licensee, only has one infant currently enrolled.
During inspection, four child’s record was reviewed and observed to be updated and maintained with proper documentation's. LPA consulted with Licensee regarding updating children immunization records and to use PM286 form. Infant in care had a 15 min sleep log in place. A review of staff records reviewed, Licensee Pediatric 1st aid and Cpr expires 5/9/2026 and Mandated Reporter expires 6/10/2026.
LPA reviewed the following documentation to be prominently posted in facility, located in the living room: Facility license, LIC610A Disaster Plan, Notification of Parent Rights PUB 394, and LIC9040 Earthquake Preparedness form.
LPA reviewed Fire Drill Log, last drill conducted Sept 8, 2025. LPA reviewed fire extinguisher with date July 22, 2024, fire extinguisher per State Fire Marshall regulations needs to be serviced yearly or purchase a new one yearly, deficiency cited.
LPA Calderon informed Licensee to Licensee temporary absent shall not exceed 20 % of hours of operations. Per Licensee when children present signs of illness, they will separate ill child waiting to be picked up , separate child in living room space, living room has dining area and play area. Home has monitoring devices to ensure safety for children located in common spaces.

Licensee was reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5 days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30 days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated. |
