25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Lilli Babcock conducted an unannounced POC (plan of correction) inspection to ensure that the Type B deficiency cited on 10/27/23 has been cleared. A COVID risk assessment was conducted. LPA met with Lead Teacher, Cindy Edmunds, to whom the reason for the visit was explained. Teacher guided analyst on a tour of the facility. There were 5 children present during this inspection. The following was observed:
ยท Facility has retested the outlets used for drinking and food preparation which showed exceedances during the October 2023 testing. Retesting completed in December of 2023 shows no exceedances. The office sink which was originally tested in October of 2023 as Sample Site "A", was retested in December of 2023 and labeled as Sample Site B. The bubbler in the library, listed as Sample Site "D" for the October 2023 testing, has been removed.
LPA advised the licensee how to access forms, regulations and quarterly updates on the Child Care Licensing Website at: www.ccld.ca.gov.
LPA cleared the deficiency on this date and provided a copy of the Licensing Report to Lead Teacher, Cindy Edmunds. LPA also issued POC clearance letter during the visit.
At this time, the licensee is in compliance with California Code of Regulations Title 22. Therefore, no deficiencies are being cited.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
