All storage containers for solid waste, including moveable bins, have tight fitting covers on and are in good repair. Disinfectants, cleaning solutions, poisons and other items that are dangerous to children are stored in an area inaccessible to children. Director states that there are no poisons stored at the facility.
At 9:25 am LPA observed that there are smoke and carbon detectors in the facility and found them to be operable. Last drill documented was on 2/17/2022.
Outdoor playground equipment is in safe condition, free of sharp, loose or pointed parts. LPA did observed some blue wooden benches with chipped paint throughout the playground and a metal trash can with paint discoloration- possible rust.
