13 | Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Alicia Mooberry and Tyler Reyes conducted an unannounced complaint inspection to deliver findings regarding an allegation that an adult in the home violated the personal rights of children in care. LPA met with Licensee Maria Gonzalez, who was present with her spouse. LPAs observed zero (0) daycare children present during this visit.
The investigation was conducted by Community Care Licensing Investigations Branch (IB) investigator, H. Bendana. The investigation included interviews with the Licensee, her spouse, and witnesses as well as document review. IB also obtained records from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and the Department of Children and Family Services.
Based on the information and evidence obtained, IB was unable to determine if the Licensee did not prevent a child’s personal rights from being violated. There is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is deemed unsubstantiated. - Page 1 of 2 |
