Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Raul Navarro and Angelica Wallin conducted an unannounced complaint inspection on 06/22/2023. LPAs arrived at 09:00am and met with Licensee Cassandra Wijeyewickrema. LPAs conducted an inspection to deliver the findings to the allegations above. There were 27 preschoolers present with 5 staff during today's inspection.

During the course of the investigation LPA Navarro toured the facility, conducted interviews with the Complainant, Director, staff, children in care, and parents. Complainant did not want their child to be interviewed. Interviews conducted with the Director, staff, children and parents were not consistent with the allegations made by the Complainant. Due to conflicting statements made by the Complainant and interviews conducted with Director, staff, children, and parents, the allegations that facility staff are not preventing inappropriate interaction between children in care and that facility staff are not adequately supervising day care children while children use the restroom are unsubstantiated.
