25 | On December 10, 2024, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Monique Ayala and Joanne Solorio Campos conducted an unannounced Annual/Random inspection at the above facility. Upon arrival LPAs were greeted by licensee, Idalia Del Prado who guided LPAs on a tour of the facility. Also present in the home was licensee's assistant who is fingerprint cleared and associated to the facility. LPAs observed 8 children in care and licensee states she has 13 children enrolled. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 7AM to 6PM. Inspection was conducted in Spanish.
This is a single-story house with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathroom, living room, dinning room, kitchen, playroom located in the rear yard, detached garage that remains off limits and completely fenced in front and rear yard. The day care takes place in living room, dining room, bathroom near dinning room, rear playroom and rear yard. The home is clean, orderly, comfortable, and well ventilated. Cribs and cots were observed for napping. LPA's entered room #1 and observed 2 infants sleeping in a crib free of bumpers, pillow and blankets.
The licensee provides all meals to children in care. Licensee provides breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner. Licensee was reminded that if food is brought from the outside that all food must be labeled and stored properly.
Licensee's poisons, detergent, cleaning compounds, medications and other items which could pose a danger to child are stored where they are inaccessible to children. LPA observed working smoke detector and Carbon Monoxide, fully charged fire extinguisher, and working telephone.
There are several age-appropriate toys and a first aid kit on the premises. Per the licensee, there are no firearms on the premises. Licensee has current First Aid and CPR, expires 04/06/2026.
