13 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) R. Derraco conducted an unannounced complaint inspection to the above mentioned facility on 10/19/23. LPA arrived at the facility at 3:05 PM and met with Licensee, who guided analyst on a tour of the facility. LPA observed 5 children in care. During the tour, LPA observed the home to be clean and free of defects. The purpose of this visit is to deliver complaint findings for the above mentioned allegations
During the course of the investigation, LPA conducted interviews and made observations. Interviews conducted did not corroborate that licensee hits day care children. Individuals interviewed state that they are not scared when in the presence of the Licensee. When it comes for caring for an infant, he or she only cries for a few minutes before the Licensee comforts them in order for the infant to stop crying. Individuals interviewed also state that the licensee provides a variety of different food options each day such as sandwiches or soup. Adequate space to take meals was observed in the kitchen area where there are 3 tables that are accessible for children in care. LPA observed napping mats to be kept in the closet located in |
