25 | On 04/04/2023 at 12:30 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA)Katrina Chicote conducted an Unannounced Required – 1 Year inspection to the above facility. Upon arrival, LPA disclosed the purpose of the inspection and initially met with Licensee's Assistant S1), who granted entry to the facility. Licensee, Amalia Oseguera, arrived at 12:55 PM. Adults in the home were discussed and all have criminal record clearance. There were initially five day care children, which includes three infants, present during today’s inspection. Licensee states that there are currently seven children enrolled. The children's roster was reviewed and is current. Emergency Disaster Plan, License, and Parents’ Rights were posted at the time of inspection. Disaster drill log was also available during today’s inspection, last disaster drill conducted on 12/06/2022.
This is a single-story home which consists of three bedrooms and one bathroom, Kitchen, Living Room, and detached garage. Areas used by the children include the Living Room (located upon entry of the home), Bathroom 1 (located to the left of entrance), Kitchen (located to the right rear of the home). Per Licensee, areas off limits to children and parents include all bedrooms. LPA observed that there are operable door knob covers on all bedroom doors making it off limits to children in care at time of inspection.
All areas identified on the facility sketch as accessible to children were inspected to ensure that they are clean and orderly with ventilation and heating for the safety of the children. LPA observed ceiling fan in Living Room and central air/heat in the home. There is a working telephone maintained in the home. At 12:36 PM, LPA observed Living Room to have three playpens available for infant sleep. LPA observed plastic cars, letter blocks, and other toys available for children at time of inspection. LPA observed cubbies for children's belongings in Living Room. At 12:38 PM, LPA observed Kitchen to have operable child safety locks on low cabinets and drawers and counters to be free of clutter. Detergents, cleaning compounds, medications, and
