25 | On 10/3/2025 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Monica Ruiz conducted an unannounced Annual/Random inspection at the facility noted above. A COVID-19 risk assessment was conducted prior to entering the facility. Upon arrival LPA Ruiz was greeted by licensee, Maria Perez who guided LPA on a tour of the facility. Also present was Licensee's assistant. LPA observed 1 infant in care. Per licensee there are 17 children enrolled. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 6AM to 5:59PM. Inspection was conducted in Spanish.
This is a single story house with 3 bedrooms, 2 restroom, day care room located in rear, laundry area with chemicals and cleaning compounds inaccessible to children in care, living room, dinning room, kitchen, front yard and completely fenced rear yard.
The day care takes place in the day care activity room, bathroom and rear yard. The home is clean, orderly, comfortable, and well ventilated. LPA observed a container with a chemical to be stored under the sink outside accessible to children. LPA observed Licensee remove chemical from under the sink and store it where it is inaccessible to children in care.
At 2:00pm LPA observed working smoke detector and Carbon Monoxide, fully charged fire extinguisher, and working telephone.
There are several age-appropriate toys and a first aid kit on the premises. Per the licensee, there are no firearms on the premises. Licensee has current First Aid and CPR, expires 12/07/2025. LPA reminded Licensee of requirements to renew First Aid and CPR every 2 years, per Title 22 regulations.
