On June 10, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Peter Bishop arrived at the above facility to conduct an unannounced complaint inspection and deliver findings. LPA announced purpose of inspection and was granted entry to facility by Site Supervisor - Maria Aguilar. LPA met with Site Supervisor - Maria Aguilar and toured the facility. There were 25 children present.

During the course of this investigation LPA Bishop, observed the classrooms as well as the other areas of interest based on the complaint received. LPA Bishop interviewed the Site Supervisor as well as 3 Staff members to include the Facility and Compliance Manager no corroborating information was given. Facility provided proof that there are regular visits being done by Dewey Pest Control as well as weekly visits beginning 06/12/2026 – 06/26/2026. Based on parties interviewed the following allegation: “Staff did not keep facility free of insects.”

Is unsubstantiated based on the Title 22 Regulation stated below:

101238 Buildings and Grounds
(a) The child care center shall be clean, safe, sanitary and in good repair at all times to ensure the safety and well-being of children, employees and visitors.
(1) The licensee shall take measures to keep the center free of flies, other insects, and rodents.

Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation(s) did or did not occur, therefore at this time the above allegation is Unsubstantiated.

A Notice of Site Visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Appeal Rights explained and given to Site Supervisor - Maria Aguilar.

An exit interview was conducted, and the report was reviewed with the Site Supervisor - Maria Aguilar.
