25 | On August 6, 2024, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Monique Ayala conducted an unannounced Annual/Random inspection at the above facility. A COVID-19 risk assessment was conducted prior to entering the facility. Upon arrival LPA Ayala was greeted by licensee, Genny Romero. LPA observed 1 child in care. Per licensee there are 16 children enrolled. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 7AM to 6PM.
This is a two-story home with 6 bedrooms, 2 1/2 bathrooms, kitchen, living room, dinning room, laundry area (all cleaning compounds are inaccessible), completely fenced in front and rear yard. The day care takes place on the first floor in the living room, dining room, hallway bathroom, bedroom #1 (playroom), bedroom #2 (napping room) and rear yard. The home is clean, orderly, comfortable, and well ventilated. The entire second floor is off limits and is blocked by a baby gate.
Licensee's poisons, detergent, cleaning compounds, medications and other items which could pose a danger to child are stored where they are inaccessible to children. LPA observed working smoke detector and Carbon Monoxide, fully charged fire extinguisher, and working telephone.

There are several age-appropriate toys and a first aid kit on the premises. Per the licensee, there are no firearms on the premises. Licensee has current First Aid and CPR, expires 01/27/2026.
