On 6/26/2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Monica Ruiz conducted an unannounced Annual/Random inspection at the facility noted above. LPA Ruiz was greeted by Licensee’s assistant (S1) who stated that Licensee went to the store. Licensee arrived shortly after. S1 helped with translation during this visit. Licensee states that there are 12 children enrolled. There were 3 children present at the time of LPA’s arrival and 1 child arrived later during the visit. Licensee and S1 state that 4 children are on vacation, 3 children come in the evening, and 1 child is absent. Attendance records were discussed. Licensee states that operation hours are Monday – Friday, 23 hours per day. Also present was Staff 2 (S2).
This is a one story home which consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen, detached garage, front yard and backyard (fenced). Areas accessible to children include living room, dining room, 1 bathroom, first half of the backyard (fenced).
Per Licensee, areas off limits to children and parents include 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, kitchen, front yard, detached garage and half of the backyard.
Licensee states there are 2 dogs, 2 cats and 5 birds on the premises. Family members residing in the home were discussed. All individuals present in the home have obtained criminal record clearance or exemption prior to working, residing, or volunteering in a licensed home and are identified on the attached LIC 859.
LPA toured all areas identified on the facility sketch used by children during this visit and were inspected for safety, comfort, and cleanliness. Tour began in living room where LPA observed age-appropriate toys, materials, and equipment. (page 1/4)
