13 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) T.Tran conducted an unannounced visit to deliver findings for the above pending allegation. Upon arrival, LPA met with Lead Teacher, Martha Hernandez and we toured the facility. LPA observed proper care and supervision.
During the investigation conducted by Investigations Branch (IB) investigator Laura Garcia, interviews were conducted with child #1 and #2 as well as facility staff and parents. During the interviews, both children provided inconsistent statements. Additionally, there were no corroborating statements from staff or parents to support the allegation. Multiple attempts were made to contact and interview the alleged suspect; however, these efforts were unsuccessful. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence at this time to prove the alleged violation(s) did or did not occur, therefore at this time the above allegation is unsubstantiated. Unsubstantiated – A finding that the complaint is unsubstantiated means that although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the alleged violation occurred.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the facility representative, Martha Hernandez.
