25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Lilli Babcock conducted an unannounced annual inspection to the above facility. A COVID risk assessment was conducted. LPA met with Licensee, Maria Cristina Valencia-Ruiz, to whom the reason for the visit was explained. There were seven children, licensee, and licensee’s assistant present upon arrival. Per Licensee, there are 10 children currently enrolled. The licensee was observed to be operating within the license capacity limitations.
The licensee states that 2 adults and no children currently live in the home. Per Licensee, there is one assistant in the facility. All adults living in the home have obtained a criminal record clearance.
This is a one-story home which consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen, detached garage (which used to be used as a daycare room and bathroom but per licensee is now being used for storage), front yard, and backyard which is fenced.
Per licensee, areas off limits to children and parents include 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom inside the home, detached garage containing the previously used daycare room and bathroom, and front yard. The children have access to kitchen, dining room, living room, one bathroom, 2 bedrooms, and backyard which is fenced.
