25 | On July 7, 2022, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Monique Ayala conducted an unannounced Required 1 Year inspection at the above facility. Upon arrival LPA Ayala was greeted by licensees, Miguel and Bertha Lares. LPA observed 9 children in care. A risk assessment was conducted prior to entering the facility. LPA observed 9 children files contained all required licensing documents. The licensee is operating within proper capacity and ratios. LPA observed licensee to be present at the home and providing adequate care and supervision. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 5:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
This home is a single story house with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, living room, dinning room, kitchen and fenced in front yard and side yard. The laundry area with chemicals and cleaning compounds are inaccessible to children in care (side yard).
The day care takes place in living room, dinning room, bathroom located on the left side of the hall and front yard. The home is clean, orderly, comfortable and well ventilated.
Licensee's poisons, detergent, cleaning compounds, medications and other items which could pose a danger to child are stored where they are inaccessible to children. LPA observed working smoke detector and Carbon Monoxide, fully charged fire extinguisher and working telephone. There are several age appropriate toys and a first aid kit on the premises.
