25 | On June 9, 2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Monique Ayala conducted an unannounced Annual/Random inspection at the above facility. Upon arrival LPA was greeted by licensee, Amparo Nunez who guided LPA on a tour of the facility. LPAs observed 11 children in care. Per licensee there are 25 children enrolled. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8AM to 5PM.
This is a one-story home which consists of 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, living room, dining room, kitchen, laundry room, front yard (fenced), and back yard (fenced). Areas accessible to children include the living room (main care), dining room, laundry room (converted to activity room), 1 bathroom, front yard (fenced). Areas off-limits to children and parents include: 2 bedrooms, kitchen, and back yard. Per licensee, there are 2 dogs on the premises that remain in the rear yard that is inaccessible to children in care. LPA observed a wall heater that is made inaccessible to children. LPA observed napping equipment for children in care in the living room (mats/playpens). Per licensee there are no bodies of water, LPA did not observe any bodies of water.
The home is clean, orderly, comfortable, and well ventilated. Licensee provides am snack, lunch and pm snack. LPA observed a functioning Smoke detector and Carbon Monoxide and working telephone. LPA observed fire extinguisher to be fully charged and serviced.
There are several age-appropriate toys and a first aid kit on the premises. Per the licensee, there are no firearms on the premises. Licensees First Aid and CPR expires on 06/15/2026.
