25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Roxana Lopez conducted an unannounced Case Management – Licensee Initiated visit to the above facility for the purpose of evaluating the Licensee’s request for a capacity increase from 8 to 14. Fire clearance for a capacity of 14 was granted on 5/7/26. LPA met with Licensee, Maria Gomez, to whom the reason for the visit was explained. Per Licensee, there are 4 children currently enrolled- one being an infant. There were 3 children present upon arrival. Also present was Licensee’s husband/ assistant and son. The licensee was observed to be operating within the license capacity limitations. Per Licensee, operation hours are Monday to Friday 6 am – 6 pm.
Per Licensee, 4 adults currently live in the home, All adults present in the home have obtained a criminal record clearance or exemption prior to working, residing or volunteering in the licensed child care home. Licensee states that there are no firearms stored in the home.
This is a one story home which consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen, den (day care room), garage, front yard and backyard (fenced). The children have access to living room, den, 2 bathrooms and backyard fenced. Per licensee, areas off limits to children and parents include, 3 bedrooms, garage, and front yard. The LPA toured all areas used by children during this visit. LPA observed a baby gates and or security knobs on areas inaccessible for children in care.
Detergents, cleaning compounds, medicines, sharp objects and hazardous items that can pose a danger to children are inaccessible in areas designated for children.------------ Page 1 of 3----------
