Per licensee, the living room will be used as an area for an ill child until an authorized representative comes to pick up child. The tour continued to the right where the dining room and kitchen were. Sharp knives in the kitchen are kept up high in a tool box, out of reach of children in care. The dining room is used for meal time and craft activities. LPAs observed a high chair. Licensee states the high chair is only used for meal time. The tour continued down a step into the den, which is used as a play room. There were age appropriate toys and equipment for children in care to use. Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors were tested and are operable.
