Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Ashley Calderon conducted an unannounced complaint visit to deliever findings . LPA met with Licensee Rosalind Williams who allowed LPA entry into the facility. LPA disclosed purpose of today's visit.

Upon arrival LPA observed (2) children present. Based on allegation: Provider leaves child strapped in car seat while in care. During this investigation, LPA interviewed parents, staff, children and licensee. LPA obtained child roster and observed the facility. Licensee R.Williams informed LPA car seats are used for transporation provided by the day care and no children are put in the car seat for disapline and left in car seats while in care. Parent #1 informed LPA via telephonically during pick up one day observed their child strapped in the car seat while in care at the facility. Additionaly, (4) out of (5) parents interviewed informed LPA Calderon they do not observe children strapped in care seat while in care.

 LPA attempted interview Child #1, Child #2 and Child #3. LPA interviewed (2) children in care Child #4 and Child #5 informed LPA facility has car seats and are used in the van and have not observed children in car seats in the facility for time outs. LPA Calderon on visit date 5/14/25 and 5/28/25 observed car seats in the back yard with no children placed in them and observed car seats in the facility van.

At approximately 1:14pm (2) additional children arrived at the facility.

Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove that the alleged violation occurred, and the findings are unsubstantiated. No deficiency given in regards to this investigation.

Notice of site visit was given and must be posted for 30 days. An exit interview was conducted with Licensee Rosalind Williams.
